Just in at Opening Ceremony, our favorite British combat boots get a glamorous remix with an added 3-inch stacked heel. Featuring the classic Dr. Martens patent leather upper with comfy air-cushioned soles, the Darcie has a more tapered toe for an added feminine touch. Converse has teamed up with Foot Locker to release a new collection of Converse footwear inspired by creative individuals. This collection is called the Co* (Co Star) Collection and will start to hit various Foot Lockers nationwide in July. One of the first models and colorways we’ve seen is this simple Red and White based sneaker. via Complex

Nike has honored New York City numerous times in the past, including the “NYC Taxi” Nike Zoom LeBron VI (6), and we now have a look at a Vandal Low inspired by the infamous taxi cabs of New York. This pair features a simple color scheme composed of a white leather upper accented by a yellow swoosh, black outsole, yellow laces, black inner lining, and black/white checkered piping. A couple other key aspects of this sneaker include a fare guide on the insole and the statue of liberty with an “On/Off Duty” sign on the tongue. There has been much hype surrounding the re-release of the Air Jordan 3 Retro - True Blues. These sneakers were at first a rumor, but an August release has been confirmed. New, better detailed images have now been released for these classics. No major differences are noticed between the August release and the previous retro. For those of you who don’t want to wait in line for these instant sellouts, VMV Inc. has these on sale right now as a pre-release for a price of $250.

It’s about time for June’s new Nike releases! The latest summer kicks from Nike include the Nike Dunk High, Nike Blazer, Nike Court Force, Nike Aerofit, and Nike Dunk Low (GS). The “LV Drip” pack and Spray Paint pack are featured within these releases, along with skinny Dunk High’s and Bamboo Blazers. These shoes promise to be the bee’s knees for the ladies, especially at prices ranging from $60 to $110. Get ‘em now while they’re fresh!

With reinforced toecaps and metal eyelets, these two Cons bring together court and outdoor in one cohesive package, showcasing the best that Woolrich has to offer. Following on from our monster Nike ACG feature in the last issue of Sneaker Freaker, here’s a new model that offers an intriguing insight into the footwear direction of the revamped division. Dare we even think such a thing, but it puts us in an early-nineties kinda mood when ACG created hard-ons from here to Tootgarook. The Air Salbis is a three-quarter boot with more than a few prior convictions. Taking a wild guess, we’d say the name is an amalgam of the Sertig and Terra Albis, and then of course there’s the ripstop nicked from the ACG Tallac. Forget all that trainspotter malarkey, this smokin’ hot bootie needs no link to the past – everything looks to be in the correct proportions. We haven’t been so enthralled by a new shoe for what seems like yonks. ACG is back in the big league and the triangle logo never looked so good! FALL RELEASE

New from Brand Jordan, the Campus Chukka creates a more prescribed appeal rather than a sporty look. With an anthracite suede upper, the chukka would be perfect for either a formal or casual garb, and the White/Black midsole remains a neutral accent. The Jordan Campus Chukka will be released on the 1^st of June at selected Brand Jordan retailers.

The woven concept is now seen on Nike Air in two colorways. The Nike Sportswear Spring/Summer 2009 Collection includes the Nike Air Woven Melon/White where part of the foot is covered by a White upper with minimal Melon accents, and the Mint/Black consumes most of the Black and accents of Mint. Both colorways come with a White midsole.

Vans has picked 4 major US cities for their latest City Pack. The cities include New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco. The New York Knicks colors will get Half Cab and Era sneakers, Chicago gets Bulls on the Old Skool and Sk8 Hi, Los Angeles, Sk8 Mid and Half Cab will be Dodgers, and San Francisco gets black and orange Era’s and Old Skool’s.
