adidas Equation for Kevin Garrnett

Expanding on their range of footwear adidas Basketball will be releasing a brand new model in 2010 known as the adidas Equation. This unique sneaker is unlike no other on the market at this time, atleast not when it comes to full on basketball sneakers. Constructed into the shoes are three snap buttons along the heel area allowing you to remove a section of the shoes. You can start out with a high top model and simply unsnap three buttons and have yourself a pair of lows, all in the same sneaker. Derrik Rose, Kevin Garnett and Dwight Howard are among a few of the adidas sponsored athletes which will rock the Equation. KG and D-Rose have also appeared in a commercial together for the sneakers titled “Lesson in Style”.

When the Adidas Beckenbauer Allround was realized in 1982, it was one of the best at that time. It was named after the German soccer legend Franz Beckenbauer, also known as “the Kaiser”. He was playing with Pele for the New York cosmos. With both of them on the team, they won the championship three times. Adidas pays homage to one of the greats by releasing the newer version of the Beckenbauer. They really did not do anything spectacular on this edition. They stuck with the current 80s classic look with Beckenbauer’s picture on the tongue. Why mess with something great?

Puma came up with a younger version of the original Puma Blaze of Glory Olympics, this time around, the famous cat named brand has incorporated some Mexican influence. The number 68 is shown on the tongue to stand for the Olympics. The inside fabric of the shoe comes in bright color of green with touches of red, white and blue and some accents of yellow and black – these colors are said to be also of Mexican influence. The upper is made up of premium quality leather with perforation patterns, while the mid sole is equally eye-catching with its speckle pattern. Watch out for the release of these babies!

A brand new colorway of the Air Jordan Flight 45 High has just started to arrive at Jordan Brand distributors throughout the nation. The latest colorup of the Flight 45 features a predominantly black design featuring an upper constructed from a combination of suede and nubuck. Subtle accents of white appear on the mid-sole, on the Jumpman logo which acts as the “i” in the “Flight” embroidery across the tongue and on the Jordan/Nike branding emboridered on the heel. If your into simple black kicks this particular Flight 45 may be one to consider.

As always adidas comes strong with their NBA themed sneakers, consistently putting out models to honor teams from both the Eastern and Western Conference. One of their latest releases when it comes to the NBA department is this adidas Phantom II paying tribute to none other then the Chicago Bulls. In classic Bulls fashion the shoes sport an entirely red mockup from top to bottom with accents of white on the adidas logo on the lateral side of the upper and on the “Bulls” text incorporated onto the heel of each shoe. Since adidas has the right to use the NBA team logos as well they went ahead and did so by including the Chicago Bulls logo on the tongue tags.

With the new year a week away, we will begin to see many more shoes for it, and what better way to start than with the Summer releases. This Hot Red edition of the Nike Prestige High will come with a mix of leathers for the upper, starting off with a black base. All we have to do now is wait till the Summer of 2010 to get our hands on these.

Last month we saw the very first look of the Vans Switchback for the Off the Walls California Collection, and after many great reviews, it’s only right for Vans to give us a look at their new pairs. The first pairs came in the Peacoat styled designs, with this second batch coming in with premium leather uppers. Looks like the Vans Switchback will be a boot with style and affordability.
The first pair seen above is the most colorful of the two, using and all orange leather upper, with a maroon front. The boots get some maroon stitching throughout the orange, as well as a black pinstripe above the white mid sole. The second pair, and my favorite of the two, comes in a distressed like brown leather, with a black collar area. This pair also features the black pinstripe above the white mid sole. The team up between two skate legends, Mike Carroll and FTC produced a genius product with the Carroll Select Lows.  Its mainly black soft-suede upper finish is highlighted by multicolored sections on the side and heel panels. The FTC tongue logo and the heel bears the Lakai and Select logos.  It comes with rubber outsole for extra board control and finishes off with red logolized sole.

Here a sneak peek at the upcoming Nike SB Dunk Low, also known as “the Chirping Bird”.  The shoe features black denim upper and a black fur liner.  The patented black swoosh is on the side and a combination of white and red for the outsole.  It is almost the same as Nike Dunk SB Three Bears pack and the Nike Dunk Low SB Gibson.  But why call this shoe “the Chirping Bird?”  Well if you put pressure on the tongue, it will release a sound same to that as a chirping bird.  It does not really serve any purpose but it sounds cool.  Rumor has it that the chirping feature will be for the US consumers only.

Check out the new Nike Lunarlite Rejuven8 Mid the comes with their new Foam soles. It comes with a nice casual Chukka look. The sneaker comes in three colorway model. It comes with red, blue and green colorway.
The new Lunarlite Rejuven8 Mid comes in a breathable weave nylon material with beautiful accent of the three tone models. I personally love the green tone. It comes in a very light material that it is almost weightless as if you are walking barefoot. Check out Tenisufki website.

Check out the new Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke by Erik Senders. The new sneaker comes with Hornets’ hues with an elephant printed heel tab that seems so natural. Senders picked a nice blend of nubuck, smooth and tumbled leather. It comes with a cool 3M material.
The sneaker comes with a nice contrasting stitching of several different colors in multiple places. The midsole come in a nice gum material kick. You can check it out at Nike Sportswear.

Casual, clean, and classic. There is no doubt that despite the new designs created by Nike, the infamous shoe manufacturer still amazes us with their timeless styles. Recently, the Nike Zoom Tennis Classic ND became available for all tennis players, shoe lovers, and slackers. Since it is in Sail Blue color, one can actually use it for both winter and summer season. Cool and casual (ok, that’s already 5 words starting with C describing this footwear), is what defines it best.

The upper part of the Tennis Classic ND is made from white leather which makes it durable and weather-enduring as well. However, the Nike swoosh is different from the other tennis classics that they did before. Rather than using a color and a material that would make it distinct from the other areas of the shoe, they perforated it instead.

I love the sound of this collection from Nike. The name is just cool and right away you’d associate it with words like stylish, edgy, comfy and breathable. The Nike Lunarlite Hyper Ventilate edition is highly recommended for the running peeps because of its Lunar Foam material (actually developed by NASA!) that gives the shoe excellent shock absorption and minimal weight.
